Mitch and his crew arrived on time and began working right away with professionalism, attention to details and cleaned up afterwards. We had six sets of French style exterior doors and two windows that had many years of peeling paint. His crew scraped and repaired sections of old wood to prepare them for painting. Every day they cleaned up all paint chips that had scattered while scraping. The finished look was amazing! I will call MK Painting for all my interior and exterior painting projects. Mitch did an excellent job taking on our huge Kitchen and Bathroom project. He painted our kitchen cabinets, shiplap, and patched & painted every single hole and crack in our walls and ceilings. I never thought our walls and ceilings would look that good. I'm also absolutely in love with our kitchen cabinets too. From the initial walk-through/estimate through the final walk-through, Mitchell and his crew clearly know their stuff. We were lucky to have MK Painting recommended to us by a trusted friend. Mitch was kind enough during the pandemic to offer options to give us an estimate with a virtual walk through or an in person estimate. We went with the in person estimate so Mitch could see the type of issues we had with our ceilings, walls, and stairs. Mitch and his crew also wore their masks any time we were all in the home together throughout the entire project, which made our family feel at ease. Mitch was prompt and listened carefully to my issues related to our stairwell, stairs, and upper hallway. He offered a thorough estimate with all aspects of the job explained. He also explained how he and his crew minimize dust as well as fumes, which was important to us since we had an infant and toddler. MK Painting took their time to complete the prep work thoroughly which allowed for a seamless finish to the painting. We needed quite a bit of work done on our stairs because a previous painter/carpenter did a slipshod job. Mitchell’s crew member did a excellent job caulking and filling holes to make our stairway look beautiful. Each day when we returned home from work, the entire stairwell and hallway was left dust free and spotless. All painting materials were always left in an orderly manner in our garage. After having such a positive experience, we asked Mitchell to add our primary bedroom to the job as well as the steel doors to our home. Mitch was able to accommodate our requests. Our carpeting and furniture was protected each day. Again, the prep work was paramount to the beautiful finish. We truly felt like MK Painting made our 1994 home look like new construction. We had a very positive experience working with Mitch and his team and would highly recommend them. They painted our foyer and 4 other rooms, as well as the foyer balusters. We were so impressed by their attention to detail and keen focus on keeping things clean. Their work on trim, including painting some quarter round in a number of rooms, was meticulous. It is so clear that Mitch and team take a great deal of pride not only in their work, but also ensuring a great overall experience. There were a couple specific asks that Mitch was able to accommodate (installing some crown molding for example) which we really appreciated.
